Neroli oil is often extracted as an absolute because the small flowers of the orange tree give so very little of their precious oil. Some Neroli oil is produced by steam distillation, highly valued for its aroma and exceedingly rare. Because of this true Neroli Oil is comparable in price to Rose oil (Rose Otto).
